Funny Games Film Review

I got a chance to watch the American version of the art house film funny games last night which was incredible in its presentation of being almost identical to the original European version made a decade ago and its acting was just as spine chilling as watching a film like salo. I read up on many comments made on the IMDB Internet movie database and was astonished to see the lack of intellectual response to this work of genius. First of all it reminded me of another psychological film I recently watched called pathology which seemed to delve into the relationship between predatory human instinct alongside that of knowledge. In Funny games we see that a psychosis which is evident seems to have formed from humans with a lack of connection to other humans in which they seem to suffer from some kind of egomania that makes me feel sorry for them in a strange way because of there lack of care and compassion for loving people and how families are such a special thing and yet the evil that is presented shows persons with a complete disconnection from humanity and drawn into the theory's of quantum physics which causes the perpetrators of having disillusions with reality acting out a show for each of us to be shocked into an emotional state. The same thing is demonstrated in the film pathology because it shows the lack of empathy through a higher level of knowledge in which knowledge is a key factor in for me the destruction of feeling and compassion which is swapped for morbid curiosity and lack of connection to humans through having a ego complex which many believe to be the reason for most killings today in that humans who are more higher up in evolution could become more predatory by instinct and madness. And I have just realised that saw films also associate some incredible genius with strong moral standards to be seen as the villain as if his knowledge as unlocked some kind of level where by he needs to fulfill his life by destroying those around him especially with his own impending death making things even more problem for him. So my question is this do you think that the more evolved we become the more likely we are to think ourselfs into the insanity to prey upon the weaker species in the food chain that some films depict.

Those are only my intuitive thoughts on those films and I am not educated enough to say that what my findings are true and they are only my personal observations. As I believe much can be learnt from fiction and film if observed with depth.

This as to be one of my fav ever piece's of music from the movie called Meet Joe Black which is very dramatic and powerfully romantic in such a profound way. I also like it how it fits well with the discovery of the magic of making love which I believe is possible through innocence which makes this film contain such power. This is a song I would like playing at my funeral if and when I die so that it shows how my soul could be comforted by the imaginary realms of love that this film inspired within me. I usually listen to this song on head phones while I am out and about and get a real euphoric love for nature and everything. In many ways the film itself explores the principles of gods love which is unconditional and dangerous to the extent that love itself should be respected and not exploited. Below is the Love making scene

The whole film is in itself a masterpiece of filming art and even the acting is profoundly dramatic. The previous scene to me was exhilaratingg enough to enjoy it for them. And while envious of such angelic persons I only imagine myself living out the experience. That is what is so magical to me about imagination and that is because if your sensitive enough to feel through drama such actions of the best actions that human nature as to offer then for me its a true blessing. If I was to die and you heard this song then at least you would know that the vibrations and sound levels are heavenly to my ears and that if there is an heaven then such things would become a part of my existence. I hope you also like Nebula aka Richard.
